RESULTS STREET STOCK FEATURE 7TH FEBRUARY 2009

Saturday night saw another excellent night of racing at Attwell Park Speedway. It
was the Street Stock feature, with a lot of fast and furious action had by all. The
night saw a great turn out of Street Stocks, with 5 visiting drivers. All but two drivers
made it to the final. Matt Fulcher did not make it past the 1st heat having engine problems.
Warrick Hanbury had a big crash into the wall in heat 2 putting an end to his night of racing . Damien Amato, Murray Penn, Tim Tysoe and Josh Davies all failed to finish the final.
The stockie guys did an excellent job fundraising for their night. Nobody went home empty
handed. Matt Fulcher got the hard luck award; Warrick Hanbury got the most damage award. Best presented car went to Paul Bowman and Clint Udecz. All drivers went away
with prize money.

Spectators were treated to a night of thrills and spills. The Super sedans put on a great show
with all their grunt and power. The Modified boys didn’t have such a good night, with quite a few being parked in field. Clinton Parker did a very spectacular roll in his modified. Driver is ok, but we think the car will need alot of TLC!  The Juniors put on a great show, with Calon
Ball WA2, Nathan Penn WA3 and Harlee Madden WA4 challenging each other hard in the final.  The Production boys (minus Ron Belfield who was away at the National title) fought
hammer and tongs in what was a thrilling final.
